Here is a brief overview of the SYNTHINGS 1 hardware
Architecture
This is the architecture of SYNTHINGS 1.
The voice generator is the block that will vary the most depending on the synthesis technology being experimented with.
Board arrangement
There are 3 PCBs, and this is how they are arranged:
The numbers for the interconnects is the number of pins for that connection. No connections are made directly from the FPGA board to the bottom PCB.
I have tracked out an EEPROM for the CPU, but it is currently not fitted.
